Tenet Healthcare execs win Federation of American Hospitals awards

The Federation of American Hospitals honored two Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. executives, D Healthcare Daily reports.

Tenet Healthcare’s Vice Chairman Keith Pitts earned the Mike Bromberg Lifetime Achievement Award, for his 40-year tenure in the healthcare industry. The Federation of American Hospitals praised his industry influence as well as business and common sense.

The Federation of American Hospitals recognized Marsha Powers, CEO of Tenet Healthcare’s eastern region-coastal division, with the Corris Boyd Leadership Award. She earned the award for overseeing additional hospitals in South Carolina and Massachusetts, bringing her division’s hospital count to 17.
