1. The award recognizes Surgery Center of Oklahoma for being among the first in the healthcare industry to pioneer price transparency by posting prices online and advertising for self-pay services.

2. The multispecialty ASC has been accredited by AAAHC since 1998 and provides care for thousands of patients from across the country as well as international patients.

3. Surgery Center of Oklahoma is known for its direct package pricing that allows patients to know exactly what their cost will be. The fees include surgeon, anesthesia and facility fees. For example, knee arthroscopy is priced at $3,740 and cataract surgery on one side costs $4,000.

4. The ASC includes orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, cardiac procedures, breast surgery, gynecology and general surgery procedures, among others.
