Spartanburg Surgery Center administrator takes on CEO role

Rick Sizemore, RN, has added CEO to his administrator title at Spartanburg (S.C.) Surgery Center.

Mr. Sizemore became administrator of the ASC in 2009 and was named CEO in April 2018. The ASC was founded in 1994 by five physicians as Spartanburg Urology Surgicenter and opened a new facility as Spartanburg Surgery Center in 2010.

The outpatient surgery center includes urology, orthopedics and GreenLight Laser treatment. The center currently has 14 physicians who perform cases at the four-operating room, two procedure room center.
