OrthoIllinois ASC staff runs emergency drills

Rockford, Ill.-based OrthoIllinois trained staff in emergency response drills this week, local NBC affiliate WREX13 reported.

Key details:

1. After undergoing training in a classroom, staff participated in emergency simulations.

2. OrthoIllinois plans to make the training a yearly commitment.

3. “I believe that it is really important for everyone to be educated. Even though we may not do it every single day, I think going through it yearly is a good reminder for everybody to keep up on their skills,” said OrthoIllinois staff member Leann Wallin.
