Jim Brown appointed CEO of new HCA Gulf Coast acquisition North Cypress Medical Center — 5 insights

Houston-based HCA Gulf Coast completed its acquisition of North Cypress (Texas) Medical Center and named Jim Brown the facility’s CEO.

1. Mr. Brown was formerly HCA Healthcare’s chief development officer. He also served as Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System’s senior vice president/ambulatory services CEO.

2. Mr. Brown holds a master’s in healthcare administration from San Antonio-based Trinity University. He is an American College of Healthcare Executives fellow.

3. HCA Gulf Coast acquired North Cypress Medical Center, a139-bed acute care facility, Sept. 1.
