HCA Healthcare is the third most powerful public company in the healthcare sector, behind Medtronic and Thermo Fisher Scientific, according to Forbes editor Ashlea Ebeling.

The most powerful companies were determined using a composite score of revenue, profit, assets and market value. Forbes analyzed companies’ financial results for the 12 months ending on April 18, 2019.

Three major players that made the “2019 Forbes Global 2000″ list:

HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.) — No. 247
Sales: $46.7 billion
Profits: $3.8 billion
Assets: $39.2 billion
Market value: $39.6 billion

Cerner (North Kansas City, Mo.) — No. 1,279
Sales: $5.4 billion
Profits: $630 million
Assets: $6.7 billion
Market value: $20.3 billion

Tenet Healthcare (Nashville) — No. 1,316
Sales: $18.3 billion
Profits: $111 million
Assets: $22.4 billion
Market value: $2.4 billion
