Health Plus Surgery Center, Dynamic Surgery Center COO dies suddenly at 60

Ralph Vellon, a leader within the healthcare industry, died suddenly at age 60, according to NorthJersey.com.

Here are four highlights:

1. Officials are determining the cause of death. They do not believe the death was suspicious, according to a director of S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Nutley, N.J.

2. Mr. Vellon was the COO for Saddle Brooke, N.J.-based Health Plus Surgery Center and Hackensack, N.J.-based Dynamic Surgery Center.

3. He was serving his first term on the Belleville (N.J.) Board of Education when he passed away.

4. Mr. Vellon submitted his name for reelection on this November’s ballot to sit on the board of education.
