Fairfax Neonatal Associates expands 3 outpatient specialty division teams — 4 details

Fairfax (Va.) Neonatal Associates’ three outpatient divisions each onboarded two new providers this year.

Here are four details:

1. Pediatric Surgical Group added Iljana Gaffar, MD, and Bharath Nath, MD, to its team of pediatric general surgeons. The physicians offer consultations and follow-ups at the Fairfax office and perform surgery out of Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Children’s Hospital and McLean (Va.) Surgical Center.

2. Pediatric Lung & Allergy Center welcomed pulmonologist Amisha Jain, MD, and allergist and immunologist David Anmuth, MD, to its team. PLAC physicians treat respiratory, allergic and immune disorders, as well as cystic fibrosis, in Fairfax and Leesburg, Va.

3. Melody Hawkins, MD, and Valerie Vitale, CPNP, joined Pediatric & Adolescent Sleep Center. Operating in Fairfax and Leesburg, the division treats sleep-related disorders including central and obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, night terrors and circadian rhythm disorders.

4. Pediatric Lung & Allergy Center, Pediatric & Adolescent Sleep Center, and Pediatric Surgical Group combined see more than 20,000 patients annually.
