ASC leader to know: Rodger Baca of Physicians Endoscopy

Rodger Baca is the chief development officer of Physicians Endoscopy, an ASC management company. Since joining the company three years ago, Mr. Baca has led the company’s strategic growth plan. The plan includes developing and buying 50 centers over a five-year span.

Mr. Baca’s leadership helped PE’s business development team produce a 40 percent center growth rate pertaining to de novo and acquisition transactions. He also oversaw the marketing team’s rebranding initiative and comprehensive marketing strategy.

Mr. Baca’s healthcare career spans more than 25 years. He has spent six years in the ASC setting, with positions such as vice president of acquisitions and development for Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America.
