5 key notes on what Americans expect from Trump’s presidency: healthcare, tax reform & more

Politico conducted a poll of 1,992 voters from March 2 to 6, 2017, gathering information about what they hope President Donald Trump will accomplish with healthcare.

The poll was taken before the ACA replacement bill, the American Health Care Act, was announced. The key points from the poll include:

1. Sixty-four percent of voters felt it was “at least somewhat likely” the ACA would be repealed.

2. Sixty-two percent of voters felt there would be an ACA replacement.

3. Sixty-two percent of voters think it’s likely there will be new infrastructure spending.

4. Fifty-six percent of voters think there will be comprehensive tax reform.

5. Sixteen percent of voters favored funding cuts to HHS.
