4 things to know about Larry Taylor, Practice Partners in Healthcare’s CEO & president

Larry Taylor has more than 25 years of experience in ASC development and management. Mr. Taylor founded Birmingham, Ala.-based Practice Partners in Healthcare in 2005.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Taylor and Practice Partners in Healthcare:

1. In addition to serving as CEO and president of Practice Partners in Healthcare, Mr. Taylor serves as a board member of Alexandria, Va.-based ASC Association. He also served as a board member of the American Sports Medicine Institute.

2. Before joining Practice Partners in Healthcare, Mr. Taylor was the president of the ambulatory surgery division of the Birmingham, Ala.-based HealthSouth Corporation. Prior to that, he served as the senior vice president of HealthSouth.

3. Mr. Taylor is currently an adjunct professor of healthcare at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

4. Practice Partners in Healthcare operates 10 surgery centers and has three additional centers in development.
