Bureau of Labor Statistics lists the following U.S. regions as the top 10 for highest RN salary, on average, based on data collected in May 2015.

2. Hawaii — $90,130
3. Massachusetts — $88,650
4. Alaska — $88,510
5. Oregon — $83,800
6. Nevada — $81,460
7. New Jersey — $79,840
8. Washington, D.C. — $79,560
9. New York — $78,950
10. Washington: $78,130
