Top 10 states with the highest volume of gastroenterology procedures per ASC

CMS released the ASC Quality Reporting data for 2018 payment year, covering the average number of procedures performed at ASCs per state in select specialties.

The data, gathered from Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2016, includes gastroenterology procedures. The GI procedures featured in the data include:

• GI endoscopy
• Hernia repair
• Laparoscopic cholecystectomy
