The Endoscopy Center to sign pledge for increasing CRC screening rates nationwide

Pensacola, Fla.-based The Endoscopy Center announced that it will sign a pledge with the American Cancer Society to achieve a shared goal to increase colorectal cancer screening rates nationwide to 80 percent by 2018, according to a Pensacola News-Journal report.

The Endoscopy Center and The American Cancer Society believe that colorectal cancer can be eliminated as a major public health problem by achieving this shared goal, notes the report.

The surgery center focuses on outpatient endoscopy and colonoscopy.
