Here’s what you should know:
1. Physicians Endoscopy finalized a partnership with Limerick, Pa.-based Endoscopy Associates of Valley Forge July 31. Endoscopy Associates of Valley Forge is a three-room ASC where physicians perform more than 5,600 procedures each year. It’s Physicians Endoscopy’s fifth Pennsylvania ASC.
2. Physicians Endoscopy and Rydal, Pa.-based physician group Gastrointestinal Associates together opened Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center and an adjacent satellite practice Aug. 18. Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center performs an estimated 6,000 procedures annually.
3. Physicians Endoscopy acquired the physician-owned Bethesda (Md.) Endoscopy Center, a three-room ASC performing more than 8,400 procedures each year, Sept. 30. It is Physicians Endoscopy’s second Maryland center.
