Pediatric gastroenterologist Dr. Karen Murray takes on 3 new roles at Cleveland Clinic

The Cleveland Clinic Pediatric Institute named pediatric gastroenterologist Karen F. Murray, MD, as its new chair, as well as the physician-in-chief of Cleveland Clinic Children’s and president of the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation.

1. Dr. Murray will begin serving in her new positions in July.

2. Previously, Dr. Murray served as the vice chair of clinical affairs for the Seattle-based University of Washington School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics, and professor in chief of the division of gastroenterology and hepatology.

3. Dr. Murray is the chair of the gastroenterology sub-board of the American Board of Pediatrics.
