Pass the hammer — RGI & MidAtlantic Endoscopy physicians take part in ASC construction project

Lancaster, Pa.-based RGI & MidAtlantic Endoscopy commenced its new surgery center project with a wall-breaking ceremony.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The practice is demolishing an existing medical office suite and building a new center in Penn Medicine Lancaster (Pa.) General Health’s Suburban Pavilion.

2. Physicians and staff took the first swings at tearing down the medical office suite.

3. Construction on the new location is expected to wrap up in mid-2019.

4. Lancaster Gastroenterology and RGAL Gastroenterology Specialists merged to form Regional GI and MidAtlantic Endoscopy. The group has another location in Ephrata, Pa.
