Olympus has announced the release of Acecide-C, a new, peracetic acid-based high-level disinfectant and sterilant, according to a news release from Olympus.
Acecide-C High-Level Disinfectant and Sterilant is an aldehyde-free, liquid chemical germicide designed for use in the Olympus Endoscope Reprocessor, the OER-Pro.
The peracetic acid solution was co-developed by Olympus and Saraya Co. (manufactured by Best Sanitizers).

"The introduction of Acecide-C provides our OER-Pro customers with another fast and effective option to meet their reprocessing needs while protecting their valuable equipment.
