Dr. Shaukat also will serve as co-director of translational research education and careers at the Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
Before joining NYU, Dr. Shaukat served on the faculty at the Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota Medical School for 14 years.
Dr. Shaukat has published extensively on colorectal cancer screening, prevention and quality indicators for colonoscopy in more than 160 peer-reviewed articles. She also serves on multiple editorial boards.
