NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln opens bariatric surgery program

NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln has launched a new bariatric surgery program at Lincoln Hospital, located in New York City.

According to a July 10 news release, the new program will offer a range of advanced and minimally advanced procedures, as well as gastric bypass, robotic-assisted surgeries and endoscopic options. 

The program will be led by Flavia Soto, MD, chief of metabolic and bariatric surgery and associate vice chair of surgery at NYC Health + Hospital/Metropolitan.
