NeuIsys Imaging Enters Gastroenterology Market

Greensboro, N.C.-based NeuIsys Imaging System Solutions, a provider of state-of-the-art CT and MR imaging systems to physician practices, has entered into agreements with three gastroenterology (GI) practices have to plan, install and service the recently FDA-approved NeuViz 16 Multi-Slice Computed Tomography System, according to a NeuIsys news release.

NeuIsys already serves urology, internal medicine, general surgery, neurology, orthopedic and neurosurgery practices. With the addition of virtual colonoscopy to the American Cancer Society’s preferred method of screening for colorectal cancer, the NeuViz 16 Multi-Slice CT can be used as a diagnostic tool implement a program to broaden the detection of curable colon cancers, according to the release. The GI groups are located in Georgia, Texas and California.

“We are very proud to announce these leaders in gastroenterology have teamed with NeuIsys to bring advanced imaging technologies to their patients. We expect that these clinicians will be much better prepared and equipped to directly diagnose colorectal diseases and provide more timely resolutions. This is directly in keeping with our mission to bring imaging closer to the patient,” NeuIsys CEO Kim Russell said in the release.
