Medical University of South Carolina names Dr. Raymond DuBois dean of the college of medicine: 4 notes

Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Medicine in Charleston names Raymond N. DuBois, MD, PhD, dean, according to a Palmetto Business Daily report.

Here are four notes:

1. Dr. DuBois, a gastroenterologist, will take over as dean on March 1, 2016.

2. He will also serve as a professor and hold an appointment with the Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, S.C.

3. He previously served as the executive director of the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University in Phoenix.

4. He completed his residency and fellowship in gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore.
