Maine hospital adds pediatric gastroenterologist

Pediatric gastroenterologist Justin DeVito, DO, has joined Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Dr. DeVito has clinical interests in inflammatory bowel disease and eosinophilic esophagitis, according to a Sept. 18 system news release. 

He previously served as a pediatric gastroenterologist at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia and associate program director of the pediatric residency program at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. He also served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, recently retiring as a colonel.
