3. Dr. Abegunde earned his medical degree from Nigeria, Africa-based University of Lagos. He completed his residency at Chicago-based John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and a fellowship at Oklahoma City-based University of Oklahoma Sciences Center. He also earned a master of science degree from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
