Kaiser Permanente names Dr. Timothy Jenkins San Bernardino County Service Area’s medical director: 3 things to know

Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente named gastroenterologist Timothy Jenkins, MD, the new area medical director for the Kaiser Permanente San Bernardino County Service Area, according to a Fontana Herald News report.

Here are three things to know:

1. Dr. Jenkins was also named chief of staff of the San Bernardino County Service Area, which includes the Fontana (Calif.) Medical Center.

2. Dr. Jenkins joined Kaiser Permanente as a gastroenterologist at the Fontana Medical Center in 1999.

3. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
