He is a member of the South Carolina Medical Association, Lexington Medical Association, American Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review.
He completed his medical degree, residency and fellowship at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia.
