Penn Medicine gastroenterologists receive ASGE Crystal Awards

The American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy will honor two gastroenterologists with the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia its Crystal Award.

David Jaffe, MD, and Michael Kochman, MD, will receive the awards during Digestive Disease Week in Washington, D.C., on May 17.

Dr. Jaffe is a professor of clinical medicine, director of gastroenterology and medical director of endoscopy at Penn Medicine (Pa.) Radnor. He will receive the Distinguished Educator Award.

Dr. Kochman is the Wilmott Family Professor of Medicine and vice chair of clinical affairs at Penn Medicine. He will receive the Master Endoscopist Award.
