GI physician leader to know: Dr. Lewis Felder of Gastro Health

Lewis R. Felder, MD, is a gastroenterologist practicing at Miami-based Gastro Health. He is board-certified and a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Felder has a professional interest in abdominal pain, anemia, colitis, colon diseases, colorectal, Crohn’s disease and dysphagia. He has expertise in capsule endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, flexible sigmoidoscopy, hemorrhoid banding and esophageal ablation. He provides care at Gastro Health’s North Miami Beach, Fla., and Aventura, Fla., locations.

Dr. Felder earned his medical degree at University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He came back to the University of Miami School of Medicine to completed his GI fellowship.
