Dr. Pambianco is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is also a past president of the Virginia Gastroenterological Society. His clinical interests include general gastroenterology, motility disorder, hepatobiliary/pancreatic diseases and interventional endoscopy.
Dr. Pambianco is the recipient of three MSD Grants, a Glaxo Grant and a Biomedical Research Support Grant. He is a certified physician investigator by the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators. He has published journal articles, abstracts and book chapters.
Dr. Pambianco earned his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean and completed his residency Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. He completed his fellowship at the University of Virginia Hospital.
