GI leader to know: Dr. Robert Kurtz of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

Robert C. Kurtz, MD, is chief of gastroenterology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Dr. Kurtz developed the hospital’s pancreatic tumor registry, which tracks pancreatic tumors in families. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal endoscopy and gastrointestinal oncology.

He has practiced at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for the majority of his 40-year career.
