Dr. Kurtz created the pancreatic tumor registry at the cancer center for patients with a family history of pancreatic cancer.
Dr. Kurtz has also held leadership positions at the cancer center, including chief of gastrointestinal and nutrition services, chairman of the clinical council and president of the medical staff.
Dr. Kurtz earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his fellowships at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York City and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
