Dr. Fountain earned her medical degree from Birmingham-based University of Alabama. She completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Greeneville-based East Carolina University.
She has been in academic and private practice for more than 20 years.
Dr. Fountain is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
