Carolinas Center for Ambulatory Dentistry sinks teeth into ASC project — 5 quick facts

Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas Center for Ambulatory Dentistry broke ground on an 11,000-square-foot dental surgery center, also in Charlotte.

Here are five quick facts:

1. The new facility will have two operating rooms, two procedure rooms, four post-op, pre-op and private exam rooms, six semi-private recovery areas and a nurse station.

2. The center will accommodate pediatric patients.

3. Construction will wrap up July 31, 2018.

4. Carolinas Center for Ambulatory Dentistry was formed by partners at Charlotte-based Carolinas Center for Oral & Facial Surgery and Fayetteville, N.C.-based dental practice Village Family Dental.

5. Village Family Dental opened a pediatric dental care ASC in March.
