GI leader to know: Dr. Francis Farraye of the Boston University School of Medicine

Francis A. Farraye, MD, is the clinical director of the section of gastroenterology and co-director of the center for digestive disorders at the Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Farraye is a professor of medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine, and is an American College of Physicians, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology fellow.

His clinical interests include treating patients with inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer and colon polyp management.

Dr. Farraye is a Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America Professional Education Committee member.
