Dr. Piccoli is hospital’s director of the Biesecker Pediatric Liver Center and the Fred and Suzanne Biesecker endowed chair in pediatric liver disease. He is a co-director of the Joint Center for Digestive, Liver and Pancreatic Diseases, a collaboration of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. .
In his clinical practice, Dr. Piccoli treats children with chronic bowel and liver disorders.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Piccoli has served as a professor of pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine.
