He subspecializes in treating chronic liver disease, cirrhosis and liver cancer.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. He completed his internship and residency at the Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, before his fellowship at Portland-based Oregon Health Services University.
Dr. Berk is board certified in gastroenterology and transplant hepatology.
