He is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of both the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians. He also holds memberships with the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Association for Bariatric Endoscopy.
Dr. Gaston earned his medical degree at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. He went on to complete additional training in Chicago, including a residency at St. Joseph Hospital and a gastroenterology fellowship at Cook County Health and Hospitals System.
