Georgia GI group adds Dr. Srinivas Gunturu — 3 insights

After spending time in New Mexico, Srinivas Gunturu, MD, will move to Georgia to join Albany-based Phoebe Gastroenterology, the Albany Herald reports.

What you should know:

1. Dr. Gunturu was the vice chair of gastroenterology at Albuquerque, N.M.-based Presbyterian Hospital.

2. He earned his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India. He completed a residency and fellowship at New York City-based Montefiore Medical Center, which is in the Bronx.

3. Dr. Gunturu also completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship.
