Gastroenterologist to know: Dr. Suneal Agarwal of Baylor College of Medicine

Suneal K. Agarwal, MD, is a gastroenterologist and assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Agarwal’s clinical interests include general gastroenterology, celiac and non-celiac gluten sensitivity, colorectal cancer screening, endoscopic ultrasound, irritable bowel syndrome and gastroesophageal reflux disease. He is a member of the American Association of Liver Diseases, American Gastroenterological Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Agarwal earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
