Kuwaiti physicians receive training for SpectraScience’s optical biopsy system: 4 points

Physicians at Al Sabah Hospital in Kuwait City have been trained in the use of SpectraScience’s WavSTAT4 Optical Biopsy System.

Here are four points:

1. The WavSTAT Optical Biopsy System uses light to optically scan tissue and provide immediate analysis to the physician.

2. The biopsy system has received FDA approval and the CE Mark.

3. Eight Kuwaiti physicians were trained to use the system.

4. SpectraScience designs, develops, manufactures and markets spectrophotometry systems capable of determining whether tissue is normal, pre-cancerous or cancerous without removing tissue.
