On the academic side, Dr. Cohen’s studies in IBD include investigations of both standard and experimental pharmacological therapies, including novel immunomodulatory agents, as well as studies analyzing quality of life and the economics involved in the diagnosis and treatment of IBD.
Dr. Cohen earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and completed his residency at Harvard University in Boston. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and nutrition at the University of Chicago.
