In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Fass has a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He is the treasurer of the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society as well as a member and chair of several committees of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
His is among the world’s leading experts in researching GERD treatment and he is on the editorial board for 28 journals; he’s a reviewer for more than 70 journals.
Dr. Fass earned his medical degree at Ben-Gurion University Faculty of Medicine in Israel and completed his residency at the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson. His additional training includes a fellowship at UCLA Medical Center.
