Gastroenterologist on the Move: Dr. Peter E. Bloom Joins Connecticut’s Bristol Gastroenterology Associates and Bristol Hospital

Gastroenterologist Peter E. Bloom Jr., MD, has established his practice with Bristol (Conn.) Gastroenterology Associates and joined the medical staff of Bristol Hospital, according to a report in The Bristol Press.

He was previously employed at New York Medical College and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Dr. Bloom received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. He completed residency training in internal medicine and his fellowship in gastroenterology at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, N.Y.

Dr. Bloom has interests in colon cancer screening, GERD, liver/biliary conditions and nutrition, according to the report.
