Lakewood Ranch-based Florida Research Institute hired Andrew Ringel, MD, a gastroenterologist with more than 25 years of experience, to assist with the institute’s clinical trial efforts.

1. Dr. Ringel led his own gastroenterology practice for more than 25 years.

2. During his career, he’s been an active researcher publishing several peer-reviewed papers and presenting at international conferences.

3. At Florida Research Institute, Dr. Ringel will provide clinical and medical support to ongoing clinical trials. FRI has more than 20 clinical professionals assisting with research.
