Dr. Schwimmer will practice at Sarasota (Fla.) Digestive Health Specialists, focused on the diagnosis, care and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, as well as immunological gastrointestinal tract diseases.
The addition of Dr. Schwimmer aligns with FDHS’ previously unveiled growth plans. In May, FDHS added Jaime Baquero, MD, its third gastroenterologist hire in a year’s time. From there, FDHS said it would add five gastroenterologists within six months.
