1. Trulance is a daily oral medication that works in the upper GI tract. It stimulates secretion of intestinal fluid and supports regular bowel function.
2. The safety and efficacy of Trulance in the adult population was established in two 12-week, placebo-controlled trials.
3. Trulance has not been approved for pediatric patients and the safety and efficacy of the treatment has not been established in patients less than 18 years of age. For patients less than 6 years of age, Trulance should be avoided due to risk of dehydration.
