Endosoft secures patent for new AI system for GI

Endosoft has been issued a patent for its Argus AI System for detecting and sizing gastrointestinal lesions, the company announced May 4.

The patent protects the developed technology that uses machine learning for detection and an algorithm to size lesions through a live video streamed during a procedure.  

The technology aims to detect and size polyps in early stages of colorectal cancer, the release said.
