Onur C. Kutlu, MD, will practice at The University of Miami Health System’s new bariatric surgery office in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Lewes, Del.-based Seaside Gastroenterology Consultants will add Heather Barton, MD, to its staff, effective in July.

Vallath Balakrishnan, MD, 83, died March 20.

Christina Ha, MD, performed late-night talk show and Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel’s first colonoscopy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Daniel Cornett, MD, joined the staff of Duluth, Minn.-based St. Luke’s Gastroenterology Associates.
