BMI of Texas Joins Allergan’s Out of Towner Bariatric Network

The Bariatric Medical Institute of Texas, a San Antonio group which specializes in a variety of weight-loss surgery procedures, has joined Allergan’s LAP-BAND Total Care Out of Towner Network, which allows bariatric patients who are visiting San Antonio or relocating to San Antonio to access expert aftercare at BMI of Texas, according to a BMI of Texas news release.

The Out of Towner Network allows gastric band patients to receive follow-up care, including band adjustments, at BMI of Texas.

“We can help band patients who are visiting San Antonio or have moved here from another city. Whether they have a REALIZE band or a LAP-BAND, our highly-trained team can assess their situation and perform the appropriate band fill,” Terive Duperier, MD, co-founder of BMI of Texas, said in the release.
