The newly recognized organizations bring the number of endoscopy units which have received ASGE Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program honors to 272. The program honors “endoscopy units that follow the ASGE guidelines on privileging, quality assurance, endoscopy reprocessing and CDC infection control guidelines,” according to an ASGE news release.
